How does it work?
Chains have significant mass. This uncontrolled mass is free to flail, causing unwanted feedback and noise. We believe this plays a bigger part in unwanted ride characteristics than other sources of negative drivetrain feedback. The springs in the Chain Damper capture the chain's energy, smoothing out the ride.
The Chain Damper isolates the rider from drivetrain feedback which is caused by the chain flailing as we descend. Bringing the chain under control allows the rider to be more closely connected to subtle suspension action.

- Chainline- compatible with Boost 52mm, T-type Transmission and DH 55mm, some superboost bikes. Reach out for more info.
- Not compatible with Praxis Aluminium cranks or DMR Axe cranks.

- One Chain Damper, incl. chainring, two sets of springs, bushes and elastomers. Also includes 1x pack of spare elastomers.

30-32t units ship with trail springs installed and the stiffer springs included separately, with the opposite for the 34-36t units.
Compatibility:
Fits Boost and DH. Fits a range of chainguides and bash guards on the market. A small shim may be required behind the bashguard or BB or Crank Spindle to space it out. Suitable for some superboost bikes, reach out for more info. Compatible with 10, 11 and 12spd chains and T-type flat top Transmission chains. Direct mount cranks only.
Weight - 240g including 32t chainring(an XT chainring in 32t is 120g) making the total weight increase just 120g for many users.
Service Intervals:
We've made every effort to design this product to last and be low maintenance. However, all high-performance parts need some kind of preventative maintenance to perform optimally. We recommend cleaning and regreasing the damper as soon as any noise or negative feeling occurs in the device. We also offer service kits and replacement chain rings that can be replaced by following this guide.
Should a squeak appear in the actuation, a small drip of chain lube around the seals of the damper should fix this.
